Best in Engagement for Good
In 2015, hockey star PK Subban announced a commitment to raise $10M for the Montreal Children's Hospital by 2022. Despite his trade to Nashville, Subban is over 30% of the way to his goal. More recently, he launched a new initiative, PK's Blue Line Buddies, which focuses on building better relationships between law enforcement and inner city youth. In 2019 so far, he’s rallied behind a 13-year-old African American hockey player receiving racist taunts from opposing teams and went undercover in Nashville to give out food at a local homeless shelter. While his efforts for good may fly under the radar, the individuals Subban is directly impacting are flying high.

This is cool from PK Subban (with sound -- sent encouraging message to a 13-yo hockey player who's been dealing with racist taunts) pic.twitter.com/JF9H7mMnIR— Kaelen Jones (@kaelenjones) January 7, 2019
